New Year New Me
Hey everybody! I sure hope you had a good holiday season! I know I did! It was surely a December to remember with all of the activities I got to do! I was so busy with the hustle and bustle of the holiday season but my most favorite thing I got to do was go to the Christmas walk here in Sugar Grove. I thought it was the right occasion to pull out my Santa suit I got last year. Boy let me tell you, all the ladies were drooling over me as I strutted down the sidewalk, but most of them were on the naughty list so I just kept on a walkin'. I didn't find my Mrs. Claus this year but I'm sure one of these days I will. I listened to my friend Katie and her band "The Flock" play on the porch of the hardware store. I know I have some big ears but boy do they have a big sound too! I even got one of their Christmas CDs so I could listen to them during car rides! I took a stroll around town and munched on some Christmas cookies while everyone petted me and then my sister said it was time for me to go home. When I got home, I realized something bad happened! My undercarriage was all muddy and so was my suit! Was it all the cookies I ate that made my belly drag so close to the ground? I mean I know I've always been a "low rider" but I didn't think it was this bad. Not only was my self-esteem shot but my Santa suit was ruined! "How will I ever find my Mrs. Claus now?" I thought as I moped up to bed. After sulking for a couple hours, I decided that enough was enough. I can't do anything about my height but I can do something about my girth. No more cookies. I mean it this time, I'm hitting the gym hard and sticking to Pedigree! Then next year when I get a new Santa suit hopefully I'll be able to drop a size and add a babe to my side at the Christmas walk...only if she's on the nice list though! That whole "bad to the bone" thing doesn't quite do it for me.
Just like my undercarriage got all gunky on my walk, that's what happens underneath your car this time of year too! The salt brine that they put on the roads to keep us safe can really cause some issues for your car. Rust may not show up right away, but after years of driving on wintry roads, it'll certainly make its way through. The best way to prevent this is by having your car undercoated by my friends at Chase Car Care! My dad mixes his own special recipe of undercoat that stays wet; it doesn't dry up and flake off like others. He brings your car in the day before and pressure washes it to get any existing grime and rust off, lets it dry overnight, and sprays it in the morning. The best time to do your first undercoat is as soon as you buy a car, but it's never too late! Yearly touch-ups are also recommended. So what are you waiting for, doggone it? Give my friends and family at Chase Car Care a call to schedule your undercoating today!
Sloppy Kisses,
