Turn That Frown Upside Down
Hi everybody! This weather has been so nice that I've been out and about doing stuff and I haven't had time to write. I've been going for lots of walks but my sister got me this new thing called a 'harness' since she said that I pull so much. I don't like that thing very well so sometimes I just sit down on the sidewalk and refuse to go any further, but they still keep putting it on me. I also got to go to my BFF Maggie's birthday party! She turned seven, but I guess you humans call that one. We had a peanut butter cake that my aunt made for us and treats that she ordered from the slobber shop at Droopy Ears Basset Hound Rescue in Union City. Boy were they good! Maggie got all sorts of presents and I couldn't help but feel jealous because none of them were mine. My parents even got her a Reese's toy from their trip to Hershey. I tried to steal all of her new things but I just kept getting in trouble. I know I should've just been happy for Maggie since she's my best friend, but man I sure did feel pretty sad when I left. I moped around all night and then came downstairs in the morning and there it was- a beautiful chocolate bar toy from Hershey! My parents got me one after all! It's my new favorite toy and I've been playing with it ever since! Maggie and I played tug of war with it the other day.
Just like I felt jealous of Maggie at first and then excited when I got my own toy, I saw something similar at work the other day. A customer had been out and about with the new tires we put on his truck and another guy saw them and felt sad because his tires were worn out. He came in and bought new ones from my dad and when he left he was so happy that if he had a tail, I knew it would've been wagging. Remember, my dad's shop is the only one in the Sugar Grove area that can do the alignment that your car needs after getting new tires, so you'll get all the life you can out of them. He'll also rotate them for free with every oil change when you buy them from us. Give us a call today!
Sloppy Kisses,
Draker
