Old Dog, New Tricks
Hi everybody!
I don't know about you but this weather is driving me crazy! I just want to get out and go for a nice walk around Sugar Grove or go for a car ride without getting a headache from hitting all those potholes. Since I have quite the case of cabin fever, my sister said she wanted me to try something new. "Oh brother, what does she have up her sleeve this time?" I thought. Then I overheard her on the phone with someone and she said, "I'd like to sign my Basset Hound, Drake, up for daycare." My stomach dropped instantly, even though it didn't have too far to go since I'm so close to the ground already. "What in the heck is daycare?" I wondered. She told me I could go next week and she sounded really excited but I ran away with my tail between my legs. "I don't wanna go, I don't wanna go," I howled as she was telling me all about how much fun it would be. I know I've been a little wound up at night from not being able to be as active because of the cold weather, but I'm used to my daily routine of getting up when I feel like it and eating my breakfast, then wandering around for a bit, then going back to bed and maybe watching animal planet for a while until my family gets home. I told my dad that I would work for him at the shop every single day of the week if I didn't have to go to this "daycare" but he said it would be good for me to try something new. They said that my cousin Maggie goes to this daycare that I have to go to so I'm hoping to meet up with her this weekend to get the inside scoop. I'll let you know how it all goes.
Just like I'm scared to go to daycare, you may be scared to go to a new place to get your car fixed. Trust me, I totally get it! At my family's shop, we understand that having your car in for service is an inconvenience and can be an expensive inconvenience at that. That's why we offer free loaner cars so that you don't have to worry about not being able to get where you need to go. We also offer free pickup and delivery in the local area so you never have to leave your house or workplace! We also understand that any unexpected repairs can cause major concern about safety and money. That's why we always call you with an estimate before we do anything with your vehicle so that you can make the decision. If you have any questions about what is wrong with your car, or if you're like me and don't know much about cars, we will take you out in the shop and show you what we've found so that you can see it for yourself and understand what we are doing to make it safer. If your car needs repairs done but you haven't gotten around to taking it anywhere yet, give my friends at Chase Car Care a call!
Sloppy Kisses,
Drake
