Drakey It's Cold Outside

Hey everyone!

I was out running errands and thinking, "Man, what did everybody do before there were cars?" My sister's car takes us all over the place! I love walks but there's no way I'd be in for walking all the way to the bank and out to lunch like we did yesterday. Well, maybe I'd walk that far for lunch, but anywhere else, that's a no for me. I can't imagine having to walk all the way to PetSmart! I think I'd rather try to flap my ears and fly there. Living in Sugar Grove, I see people driving these black cars with wooden wheels but they're attached to to a really big dog (I guess humans call it a horse) that drags them everywhere. They don't even have a windshield or anything! Boy would that be cold in the winter time! I'm so glad I get to ride in my family's cars because they're nice and warm in the winter and cool in the summer. You know what makes that happen? Your car's thermostat! I've learned all about them at work this winter! The thermostat lets your engine warm up as fast as it can and doesn't let your coolant flow to your engine until it's nice and warm. I've learned that it's important to have your coolant system flushed too because it can get really dirty and clog things up. If you check out the book that came with your car, it will tell you all about when to get these services done or you can just stop by our shop and talk to my dad.
