Driver's Education

I was on a ride with my dad the other night and we noticed many mistakes people make while driving. Within a ten mile ride, we noticed several people not using their turning signals, not dimming their lights for oncoming cars, and tailgating other drivers. Sometimes we see people texting, brushing their hair, or cutting their fingernails! Going for rides is my favorite thing to do and I certainly don't want to feel unsafe while doing it. I think that driver's ed should be mandatory for kids in order to graduate high school. Both of my parents were required to take driver's ed when they went to Eisenhower and I feel very safe when I ride with them. Please drive safely, use common sense, and consider taking a driver's education course or having your children do so to ensure safe travels for us all.
